Easter 2008

Easter weekend was a much anticipated weekend for me. We had hinted to our cousins in Las Vegas that it would be a great time to come see the Easter Pageant and the Reflections of Christ display and stay for Easter! Well, they took the bait, and so for the first time in many many years we were together with most of our "Vegas Cousins". The difference this time, we weren't the kids anymore, we were the moms and dads, and there was a whole new bunch of kids- it was GREAT! Here's how the weekend went down!
Karter and Connor pre-showKarter and Connor before the night was over (and pretty much all weekend! :)
Lillie- she was always ready to pose for me!
Boyd and Niki with Steph and Johnny and kiddos
Boyd with Aunt Vicki
Steph with my mom

The girls were doing anything to try and steal the show away- nice try!

New BFF's, Niki and KennaOur favorite angel this year, by far, ShawndaUsually, this is our favorite angel- oh how we missed her this year!!Brother and Sister, it's been a long time!Brig really enjoyed meeting the cast and getting their autographs, this was one of his favorite! All the boys liked the cool Roman Soldiers, however, they did not like watching them be cruel to Jesus in the play. And of course, the girls loved the Parable of the 10 Virgins girls, their costumes are amazing and they are each so beautiful!Had to get my Sweet Sally Sue!
Saturday was just a day to hang out and enjoy catching up. The guys did go shooting in the desert for a few hours while us gals took all the kids swimming. Other than that- it was hanging out at my house for about 12 hours- but it was great. I loved seeing us all together (like back in the days of hanging out at Grandma Norma's.) The kids were having so much fun with each other, and we put down some food- of course! Could these girls get any SASSIER??!! Umm- the answer, YES!!!

What was left of our "Continental Breakfast"

Hilary always in "attendance"

Seriously Sassy!

Really- we hung out for like 12 hours!

One of the few moments Uncle Scott didn't have one of the kids tugging on him or sitting on him- thanks for being such a good sport with all our crazy kids!

Love this photo of Macy- she really misses Hilary!

Really- still hanging out!

Easter Egg coloring out back!

Molly and Grace not only dyed the eggs, but pretty much dyed themselves as well! Hope the dye matches their Easter dresses!

Sunday, we had a huge brunch and the long awaited Easter egg hunt!

Boyd and Norma's posterity!

Lindsay's and Syd's girls- they were adorable!

Heather and Bentley

And of course, a get-together with some Rock Band!

Wende this was so sweet! Thanks for being so generous with your house. I know that isn't easy to have that kind of chaos for that long. We loved our time with all of you and our kids still are talking about it. They would be more than willing to make that drive again if it meant more time with all of you. I love you all so much and miss you tons. Thanks again and again.
